Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). What a pleasant-sounding trio of ideals, seemingly plucked from a utopia we’re all meant to aspire to. On the surface, it promises fairness, respect, and unity—a better world for everyone. Scratch beneath that polished veneer, however, and you’ll find something far more insidious: a divisive framework designed to dismantle national identity, destabilise societies, and pave the way for a globalist agenda steeped in Marxist ideology. Far from promoting harmony, DEI appears to be a tool for sowing disunity, pitting people against one another in an endless battle of grievances. Let’s unpack how this seemingly noble crusade is, in reality, an exercise in societal self-sabotage.

The False Promise of “Diversity”

Diversity, we are told, is a strength. The more varied our societies, the more enriched our lives become. It’s a nice idea in theory, but when imposed as a dogma, diversity morphs into a weapon of fragmentation. Rather than fostering understanding and mutual respect, it seems to focus on highlighting our differences and amplifying them.

Instead of celebrating shared values or cultural heritage, diversity initiatives often centre on identity markers—race, gender, sexual orientation, and other traits over which individuals have little control. In doing so, they reduce people to their demographic boxes. Merit, competence, and character? Secondary, if they matter at all. The result is a society increasingly balkanised along identity lines, where the very idea of national unity is cast as outdated or oppressive.

When nations prioritise diversity at all costs, the social contract begins to erode. A society thrives when its members feel bound by shared goals and a common identity. Replace that with endless focus on what separates us, and you have a recipe for discord. DEI isn’t about diversity strengthening nations—it’s about diversity dismantling them.

The Trap of “Equity”

Equity may sound like equality, but don’t be fooled. Equality is about providing equal opportunities for all, a cornerstone of free and fair societies. Equity, on the other hand, demands equal outcomes—a standard that not only disregards individual effort but also ignores the natural differences in talents, aspirations, and circumstances that make life dynamic.

In practice, achieving equity requires heavy-handed intervention. Systems of meritocracy are dismantled, replaced by quotas and preferential treatment. Standards are lowered, excellence is sacrificed, and resentment brews as people who work hard find themselves penalised, while others benefit purely based on arbitrary characteristics.

Equity, then, is less about fairness and more about control. It shifts the focus from empowering individuals to empowering institutions—those same institutions that then wield DEI as a bludgeon to impose their ideological agenda. Rather than lifting people up, equity pulls everyone down to the same dreary level, all in the name of “fairness.”

Inclusion: Censorship in Disguise

Who could argue with inclusion? It sounds so inviting, so warm. Yet in practice, inclusion often translates to the policing of thought, speech, and even belief. The goal isn’t to create spaces where everyone feels welcome; it’s to create spaces where dissent is silenced.

Under the banner of inclusion, traditional values and national identities are sidelined as relics of an oppressive past. Speak up for cultural or historical traditions? You’re exclusionary. Question the wisdom of prioritising diversity over competence? You’re bigoted. Inclusion, paradoxically, has become a tool for exclusion—excluding anything or anyone that doesn’t fit the prescribed ideological mould.

In this brave new world, people tiptoe around one another, terrified of saying the wrong thing. Genuine dialogue is replaced by performative platitudes, while institutions enforce an ever-expanding list of what cannot be said or even thought. Far from bringing people together, this version of inclusion creates a culture of fear and conformity.

The Marxist Agenda Behind DEI

Why is DEI so pervasive, and why does it feel like questioning it has become a modern heresy? The answer lies in its ideological roots. DEI draws heavily from critical theory, a cornerstone of Marxist thought. Where traditional Marxism sought to divide society into economic classes, its modern iterations focus on identity groups—race, gender, sexuality, and so on. The goal is the same: create division, foster resentment, and destabilise society to pave the way for a new order.

By embedding itself into institutions—corporations, schools, governments—DEI becomes a Trojan horse for this agenda. Its advocates don’t just want diversity in hiring practices or more inclusive policies. They want to dismantle the foundations of Western civilisation, which they see as inherently oppressive. Borders, sovereignty, national identity—all must go. The independent nation-state is framed as a relic of the past, an obstacle to the globalist vision.

This is the real endgame of DEI: not unity, but uniformity. Not empowerment, but control. And the cost? The erosion of the values, traditions, and freedoms that underpin stable societies.

Propaganda Masquerading as Progress

To sustain itself, DEI relies on relentless propaganda. Through media, education, and corporate messaging, it paints itself as the moral high ground, while dissenters are branded as relics of an unenlightened past. Every criticism of DEI is met with accusations of hate or ignorance, effectively silencing opposition.

Meanwhile, its failures—declining social cohesion, increased resentment, and a growing sense of alienation—are ignored or reframed as proof that we need more DEI, not less. It’s a self-perpetuating cycle: the more damage it causes, the stronger its grip becomes.

The Cost of Compliance

What’s left of a society that fully embraces DEI? A fragmented population, stripped of shared identity and national pride. Mediocrity elevated over excellence. Institutions so focused on meeting quotas and avoiding controversy that they forget their true purpose.

Worst of all, we lose our sense of independence—not just as individuals, but as nations. When sovereignty is eroded in favour of globalist ideals, we find ourselves at the mercy of unelected bureaucrats, beholden to an ideology that prioritises control over freedom.

The Path Forward

Rejecting DEI doesn’t mean rejecting diversity, fairness, or respect. It means rejecting the cynical, divisive framework that weaponises these ideals for a darker purpose. It means recognising that true unity comes not from erasing differences, but from embracing shared values and fostering genuine dialogue.
